چکیده

An experiment was conducted on sagarika-liquid with inorganic fertilizers during Zaid season 2022 at the central research farm of Department Soil science and Agricultural chemistry, to enhance productivity. The design applied 3x3 RBD having three levels Sagarika-liquid @2ml, 3ml 4ml L-1 N P K @ 50, 75and 100%. result obtained treatment T9[N @100%+ 2 Spray Sagarika l-1] that showed vermicompost in combination resulted a slight change soil pH 0-15 cm 15-30 were found 7.12 7.27and EC 0.35 0.32 dS m-1 respectively. significant results pore space 47.90 45.52%, water holding capacity 46.10 43.60%, organic carbon 0.54%, 0.44%, available nitrogen, phosphorus potassium be among other treatments Green gram cultivation quality improvement. maximum yield regarding, gave best respect plant height 45.34 cm, number pod plant-1 28.16, seed pod-1 8.45. It highest 1.96 t ha-1. also revealed application manures excellent source for fertilization than fertilizers.

Community Profiling of Culturable Fluorescent Pseudomonads in the Rhizosphere of Green Gram (Vigna radiata L.)

Study on microbial diversity in the unexplored rhizosphere is important to understand their community structure, biology and ecological interaction with the host plant. This research assessed the genetic and functional diversity of fluorescent pseudomonads [FP] in the green gram rhizophere. One hundred and twenty types of morphologically distinct fluorescent pseudomonads were isolated during ve...

Regulation of urease in Bradyrhizobium colonizing green gram (Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek).

In the present study attempts have been made to characterize urease expression in slow growing Bradyrhizobium strains TAL442 and MO5 which are endosymbionts of green gram (Vigna radiata (L.)Wilczek). It was found that urease activity in vegetative cells of both the strains was inducible unlike their fast growing counterparts. Mode of regulation in TAL442 was governed by presence of ammonia. Ure...

Symbiotic effectiveness of bacteriocin producing and non-producing strains of Rhizobium in green gram (Vigna radiata).

Rhizobium strains nodulating green gram [Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek] were found to produce bacteriocin on modified Bergersen's medium and inhibited the growth of homologous Rhizobium strains. Four bacteriocin producing and four bacteriocin non-producing strains were compared for their effect on nodulation, in planta nitrogenase activity and plant dry weight of green gram. The bacteriocin produc...
